A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold astronomic keyless pocket watch with moon phases and power reserve, circa 2002. An Empire, solid, polished case, stepped bezel, engine turned band and case back over transparent cover. Guilloché silver dial with applied yellow gold Breguet numerals, outer minute dot divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the up and down indication, aperture for the moon phases. Yellow gold Breguet hands. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self compensating Breguet balance spring with outer terminal curve. Dial, case and movement signed.

Zenith SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel and is one of the oldest continuously operating watchmakers. Favre-Jacot invented the concept of ‘in-house’ movements, believing that only through control of the entire watchmaking process, perfection could be achieved. Zenith was purchased by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) in November 1999, becoming one of several brands in its watch and jewellery division which includes TAG Heuer and Hublot.
