A Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating pocket chronograph watch Répetition Chronographe, from Geneva, circa 1920. This watch features a gold plated manual winding movement with a lever escapement, along with a chronograph and quarter repeater that operate with push release and strike on clay spring. It has a white enamel dial with Arabic radial hour markers, red inner 24 hour numerals, outer scales for minutes and chronograph seconds, a subsidiary seconds dial, Louis XV style hands, and a central chronograph seconds hand. The guilloché case and dust cover are made of 18 carat gold. Inside, on the spring cover, there is a dedication engraving that reads, Dem Sieger im Bulgariaspurt, 6. Breslauer 6-Tage-Rennen, 1929.
