A Swiss, 18K gold quarter repeating key-winding pocket watch with open face, circa 1810.
Frosted gilt full plate movement, calibre 21, cylinder escapement. Silver dial with radial Roman numerals on a polished ring, outer minute divisions, engine-turned centre, subsidiary seconds at six, original blued steel Breguet hands, and one horological complication: · Quarter-repeater on two steel gongs by two hammers (activated by depressing the pendant). Round-shaped 18K yellow gold case. Case No. 2 021 (by A & F, probably Geneva).
