Gold watch with enamel landscape 
–
A large Swiss, 18 carat pink gold quarter repeating musical watch playing music on the hour or at will, circa 1820. Cuvette is signed, movement punched with a four-leaf clover mark. Gold dial with white enamel cartouches for the Arabic numerals, in the centre an enamel landscape scene. Outer blue enamel minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass, two-train movement, with a standing barrel for the going train, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, flat balance spring, polished steel endplate, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Sur plateau musical movement with 29 tuned steel vibrating blades acting on both sides of the pinned disc, music/silence lever at the edge of the cuvette beneath the back cover.
