A Swiss, 18K gold quarter repeating key-winding pocket watch with open face, circa 1810.
Frosted gilt full plate movement, calibre 19, verge escapement. Silver dial with radial Roman numerals on a polished ring, outer minute divisions, engine-turned centre, original blued steel Breguet hands, and one horological complication: · Quarter-repeater on two steel gongs by two hammers (activated by depressing the pendant). Round-shaped 18K yellow gold case. Case No.22 326 and No. 6 699 (by A & F, probably Geneva). Cuvette (dome) engraved in taille-douce Lautard, Capitaine / et Propriétaire / au Bouissou.
