Gold hunting cased keyless complicated lever watch

A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter chronograph pocket watch with minute repetition and triple calendar made by Le Phare, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, a compensated bimetallic balance wheel, a Breguet balance spring, a column wheel mechanism, and an on demand hour striking repeater function. It includes a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette signed Le Phare. The white enamel dial features Arabic numerals for the hours and an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals. There is a subsidiary date dial at 12 o’clock, a subsidiary seconds dial with a moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock, and dual apertures for the day and month displays. The Louis XV style hands are steel, including a large central chronograph seconds hand.

The timepiece is housed in a round three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with a smooth, polished spring hinged front cover and a matching smooth, polished back cover. It has a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and pushers on the caseband for the chronograph and repeater functions.
