A very fine and rare 18k pink gold Swiss, keyless dress watch, circa 1910. Made for A. Carassale, Montevideo. A  solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands.

A bridge calibre, nickel movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, gold train, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Patek Philippe patented micrometre cam regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
