–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by Omega and retailed by G Huet in Paris, circa 1910. This watch features a mechanical crown winding manual movement signed Omega with a frosted gilt finish, a traditional lever escapement, a bimetallic compensation balance, and an engraved balance cock with index regulator. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, outer red 5 to 60 minute markers, an outer railroad minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and rose gold tone spade hands. The timepiece is housed in a substantial round 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter savonette case with a polished hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow. The gold inner cuvette is engraved with the retailer’s signature: G HUET, 27 Montagne Ste Geneviève, Paris.
