A Swiss 18 carat gold key wind open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1841. The watch features a gilt full plate lever movement with a plain three arm balance, and an engraved balance cock. It has a guilloché engraved gilt dial with applied foliate decoration and an engraved edge, gilt Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions, and blued steel Fleur de Lys hands. The engine turned 18 carat gold case includes an engraved edge with a hinged cuvette. It comes with an associated winding key. Both the case and movement are signed.
