Extremely fine and rare Swiss, 18K gold, half-hunting cased, quarter repeating, a keyless pocket watch, circa 1910. Watch with six complications, perpetual calendar, moon phases and lunar calendar. Retailed by J.B. Froitzheim, Köln. A heavy, polished case, front cover with radial black Roman numerals, and inner minute track around the glazed aperture. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the months, date, days of the week and seconds, aperture for the moon phases with a lunar calendar on the edge. Blued steel spade hands. A matte gilt movement, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
