Gold open faced lever chronograph watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced monopusher chronograph pocket watch, made by Longines and retailed by Herpy Arnold in Budapest, circa 1910. This watch features a hand wound mechanical movement with a lever escapement and a chronograph function. The white enamel dial displays black Roman numerals for the hours and an outer railway minute track. It features a unique red decimal scale (0-100) for industrial or scientific time measurement. It includes a 30 minute register at 12 o’clock, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and a central chronograph seconds hand. The round 18 carat gold case is smoothly polished, with a fluted crown and a square pusher at the side.
