A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold pocket watch with apocryphal Breguet signature, made by Breguet, circa 1842. It features a pendant wound mechanical movement with lever escapement and a compensated bimetallic balance. The white enamel dial, bearing an apocryphal Breguet signature, displays Breguet numerals for the hours, an outer minute railway track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and Breguet style hands. (The dial shows cracks and wear.) The case is smooth yellow gold.
