Gold open faced keyless lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Vacheron Constantin in Geneva, circa 1910. This watch features a keyless pendant winding mechanical movement with a lever escapement and a compensated balance wheel, signed by Vacheron Constantin on the plates, reflecting the manufacture’s longstanding reputation for precision and refinement in Swiss horology. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and elegant Louis XV style hands. The dial is in fine condition, retaining its original enamel surface with excellent legibility and is signed by Vacheron Constantin. The round 18 carat yellow gold case is fitted with two gold shells. The case bears the Swiss Helvetia hallmark, confirming its 18 carat gold content. Accompanied by its original presentation case.
