Gold open faced keyless lever watch

A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Vacheron Constantin in Geneva, circa 1920. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, signed Vacheron Constantin. The silvered dial features stylized black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold hands. It is signed Vacheron Constantin Genève, Suisse. The timepiece is housed in a three body 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a chased pattern on the bezel and caseband. It has a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette. The watch is accompanied by a 70 cm gold plated metal chain.
