A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Omega, circa 1920. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement and a bimetallic compensation balance wheel, signed Omega. The yellow enamel dial features black painted Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel hands, signed Ω Omega. The timepiece is housed in a round three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with an intricately hammered textured reverse back cover decorated with a central monogrammed cartouche topped by a crown, a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette, signed Omega.
