A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold ultra thin oval open faced keyless lever pocket watch made by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, circa 1970. It has a high grade mechanical crown winding ultra thin movement with a Swiss lever escapement, signed Vacheron & Constantin. The smooth gold dial features applied gold baton index hour markers and minimalist matching gold tone baton hands, signed Vacheron & Constantin Genève. The timepiece is housed in an elegant oval shaped double body 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case. The reverse back cover has a vertically brushed satin finish and opens to a plain polished interior signed Vacheron & Constantin. The watch is fitted with a specialized winding crown integrated with a blue sapphire cabochon stone and a sturdy triangular suspension bow.
