In 1912, the Cresarrow brand of Cresarrow Watch Co. was registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This brand was registered 1916 in Geneva by W. A. Huguenin. Most of the movements were made by Ch.H. Meylan Watch Co. in Geneva, but also by IWC. In the spring of 1912, Henry Blank made a business trip to Europe. He visited movement manufacturers in Switzerland and jewel dealers in Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam. It was an exhausting business trip and Henry Blank made a reservation for the maiden voyage of the Titanic on his return home in Paris. He was one of the few survivors.
