A Swiss gold and enamel buttonhole watch in the shape of a stylised American flag, circa 1910. This watch features a damascened nickel movement with a lever escapement and a bimetallic compensation balance, signed Longines Watch Company. It boasts a white enamel dial adorned with blue Arabic numerals and a distinctive red 12. The gold case, numbered and equipped with a snap on back, houses a small watch designed for a buttonhole. This is elegantly encased within a stylised red, white, and blue enamel shield shaped like the American flag. The caseback is signed by the American Watch Company and bears a number.

The dial is in excellent condition, and the movement is functioning well. The case has general surface scratches on the back, but the enamel buttonhole remains in good condition.
