A very rare Swiss gold calendar verge pocket watch with polychrome enamel painted dial, circa 1810.
Full plate gilt fusee movement, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel coqueret, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blued steel indicator.
Polychrome enamel painted dial with an outer track for the date, Arabic numerals, surrounded by a classical painted scene of a couple outside, blued steel hands. Winding through the painted dial. Plain case with gold pendant and bow.
