A Swiss chrome plated split seconds chronograph Olympic deck watch, circa 1963. A solid, keyless (and electric) plain case, chrome split second chronograph pocket watch made exclusively for the Omega timing department. White dial with Arabic numerals, and blued steel hands. Gilt lever movement, high speed oscillator with 36.000 A/h, split-seconds chronograph. Case numbered, dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers.

According to the Omega museum, these pocket watches, used for Olympic timing, were never sold to the public and belonged to the Omega Timing department. Each example is numbered on the dial (in this case, 3) and features a modified calibre 1130 that allows, via electric contact, the last five seconds before an elapsed minute to be recorded via an optical acoustical system.
