A Swiss decorative quarter repeating gentleman’s pocket watch “á quatre couleurs” with 2 jacquemarts, circa 1820.
18 carat gold polished case with signed dome, band with cord pattern, pusher for repetition via pendant and case maker’s punch mark “SSS”. Skeletonized dial with gold jacquemart “á quatre couleurs”, depiction of a bell-ringing couple in antique-like garments, enamel chapter ring with Arabic hours, visible mirror-polished rack strike and blued Breguet hands. Full plate movement, firegilt, engraved border, keywind, with chain/fusee, 2 hammers / 2 gongs and fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
