A Swiss decorative 18K gold and enamel triple-cased verge pocket watch, circa 1770.
Gilt transport case with glazed back, large lateral hinge, gold and enamel outer case, the back with a polychrome enamel miniature portrait of a young lady framed by a translucent green border, the band engraved and partly enamelled, paste-set bezel, large lateral hinge, plain gold inner case. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, Arabic minutes and Louis XV hands. Fire gilt full plate movement, applied decorations, key-winding, chain/fusee, baluster-shaped pillars, three-arm brass balance and engraved pierced balance cock with shellwork, signed.
