A fine rare and elegant keyless 18 Carat white gold dress watch with a sapphire set band. Made by Longines, Saint-Imier Switzerland, circa 1930. Three body, demi bassine, solid and polished case with band entirely set with rectangular faceted sapphires and case back with engraved monogram.
Brushed silver dial with black Paris numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel quatrefoil hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and a cam micrometre regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed.
