Gold and enamel pocket watch

A very fine and rare, 18 carat gold and painted enamel pocket watch, accompanied by a fitted wooden box. Made for the Turkish market Circa 1830.
Three-body case of which the hinged back is decorated with a fine painted on enamel flower trophy with a flaming torch and quiver on a pink ground, outer light blue, white and green champleve enamel border with engraved gold foliate scrolls, the bezel, pendant and bow decorated to match. Fixed gold cuvette with apertures for winding and hand-setting.
White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, outer minute track and gold Breguet hands.
Matte gilt movement with full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental cock and silvered regulation dial.
Dial and cuvette signed.
