A Swiss exquisite, thin gold enamel gentleman’s pocket watch for the German market, circa 1910.
18 carat gold case, the backside with a polychrome enamel medallion depicting Napoleon Bonaparte with his family and inner lid with monogram WLI reeded bezels. Signed gilt dial with Arabic numerals and blued spade hands. Bridge movement, nickel-plated, decorated, adjusted, with the patent specification “Swiss 34976”, screwed gold chatons and monometallic screw balance.
