A Swiss, extremely rare, fine Schaffhausen gentleman’s pocket watch in “Quality Extra” finish, with original box and IWC extract from the archives, circa 1910. Sold on October 4th, 1910 to Dankwerth family in Hannover.
14 carat rose gold polished case with gold dome. Enamel dial, signed “Präzisions-Zeitmesser 1. Klasse Sternwarte Bulletin”, with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and gold spade hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance and index spring fine adjusting device.
