An extra ordinary gold enamel pendant verge watch in the form of a ball, circa 1810.
A gold, polychrome enamel form watch, enamel dial, full plate movement, keywind, chain/fusee, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance.
The ball shaped case opens and is decorated with floral Champlevé enamel on black ground. Small base plate with engine turned pattern, naturalistic lug with leaves that were added at a later date.
