A very fine and elegant Swiss 18K gold, enamel and diamond-set keyless dress watch with a platinum and enamel chain, circa 1910. Made for Dreicer & Co., New York. The back cover with translucent royal blue enamel over an engine-turned background, the centre with applied platinum and rose-cut diamond-set motif, and the bezel is decorated to match with a white line border and bow. Matte silvered dial, black Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, Extra Adjusted, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, and an index regulator.
