A fine, elegant open faced Art Deco dress watch in an 18-carat yellow gold and enamel case, circa 1920-1930.
This watch has an enamel dial with exquisitely Arabic numerals for the hours, outer minutes track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, skelettform hands, and a rhodium-plated movement, so-called Chronometer Uris, with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, four adjustments. The dial and movement are signed.
