An exquisite and super flat gold/enamel pocket watch by Vacheron Genève, one of the earliest watches, circa 1835. An 18 carat gold, engraved and enameled, finest enamel painting on back, Alpine landscape with goatherd, dome signed, extremely flat cylinder movement, finest Geneva quality with special negative winding shafts (similar to Bagnolet caliber), with matching key, original silver dial and original blued Breguet hands, excellent condition, with probably original seller’s box by Breting Brothers Genève, very early number 686.
