A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch, made by Breguet in Paris, circa 1872. With one horological complication, 30-hour power reserve indication, sector at 12 o’clock. A polished case back with a white enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, power reserve indication and yellow gold Spade hands. A gilt brass movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator. Signature on the cuvette.
