An attractive Swiss 18 carat gold keyless wind concealed watch in the form of a lute with enamel decoration, circa 1820. Later gilt full plate Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals with red 12, gilt dot outer minute markers, subsidiary seconds at 6, blued steel hand.
gold case in the form of a lute, engraved and decorated with red and white enamel to the body, red and white enamel decoration to sound board, black enamel striped neck, blue head.
