A Swiss gold and enamel mandolin form watch, circa 1820, gilt verge movement, balance bridge pierced and engraved with scrolls.
The sound board with diamond-set aperture revealing the balance, with translucent red enamel heightened by gold engraved scrolls, the reverse overlaid with alternating panels of translucent green enamel over engine-turning, and panels with geometric design in tones of green and black, unsigned.
