A fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel octagonal keyless dress pocket watch, circa 1920. A solid case, bezel overlaid with violet translucent guilloche enamel, white enamel line edging and the outer border with a geometric pattern on champleve black enamel ground, the back entirely overlaid with transparent guilloche violet enamel, border to match the bezel. Octagonal, matte silver dial with graduated black champleve Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, four adjustments, Breguet balance spring, screw micrometre regulator. Dial and case signed.
