An English 18 carat yellow gold, enamel and pearl set open faced pocket watch made by James McCabe in London, circa 1800. Gilt full plate movement, a cylinder escapement, chain and fusee, and pierced and engraved balance cock. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an oute minute track and gold moon hands. Both bezels set with seed pearls, the back with translucent red enamel over an engine turned ground, Movement signed and numbered.
