An extremely rare English gold/enamel hunting cased pocket watch set with Oriental pearls, The Lotus Blossom, circa 1820. Probably from Geneva and made for the Chinese market.
Full plate movement, verge escapement. 18K gold, multi-coloured enamel case of fantastic quality, set with high-quality Oriental pears and maker’s mark DB. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic fifteen minutes numerals, and blued Breguet steel hands.
