A rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold self winding open faced cylinder watch with quarter repeating, circa 1820. This watch features a fire gilded movement, wound with a key and an oscillating weight. It has a quarter hour strike on a clay spring with a pressure release. The gold guilloché dial displays black Arabic numerals, complemented by blued Breguet steel hands. The rose gold, guilloché case bears the Neuchâtel hallmark and includes a gold plated dust cover.
