A very fine Swiss, rare and substantial, dodecagonal, self winding, water resistant platinum pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 2005. A polished and brushed case, dodecagonal case, case back secured by eight screws, reeded chronograph pushers, sapphire set crown. Silvered dial with polychrome nautical flag hour indexes, subsidiary dial for the seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Baton’s hands. A rhodium plated movement, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self compensating flat balance spring, micrometre regulator, hacking feature.
