Gold hunting cased lever pocket watch

A very fine English, minute repeating 18K gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1893. The case is made by Frederick Thoms with London hallmarks. An engine-turned, polished band. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial by Willis, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. Gilt three-quarter plate movement with spotted decoration, 21 jewels in screwed gold chatons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing and temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Movement signed.
