A charming Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel hunting cased keyless dress watch made by Aero Watch S.A. in Neuchâtel, circa 1960. Retailed by Jacques. Polished case with a curved band, the back finely painted on enamel showing a scene of a young couple serenading in a rural landscape in the 18th century style, signed WCF, the front cover with a dark green and red champlevé enamel panel, surrounded by a scalloped border and an outer floral border. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions and red 24 hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The gilt movement with oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 17 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating flat balance spring, an Incabloc shock absorber and a micrometre regulator. Dial signed Jacques Horloger, case signed Aero Watch S.A. Neuchâtel.
