A thin Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch, circa 1928. Made for Shreve, Crump & Low Co. Boston. A polished, hinged case back with engraved initials: PHE. Satine silver dial with applied gold Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Yellow gold Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation Guillaume balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed, the movement also signed: Shreve, Crump & Low Co. Boston.
