Esquivillon & De Choudens was active in Geneva and Paris between 1765 and 1830. The Geneva watchmaker Jacques Dechoudens (1728-1801) founded a workshop with the brothers Joseph Esquivillon (1714-1798), Jean François Esquivillon (1) (1733-1813) and Gédéon-François Esquivillon (1717-1799), who produced high-quality verge pocket watches. The watches were mainly signed with Les Freres Esquivillon & De Choudens, but also with Esquivillon & De Choudens and Les Frères Esquivillon.
