A very fine Swiss yellow gold and enamel open faced verge watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1820.
Gilt brass keywound full plate movement, verge escapement.
White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands.
Yellow gold case, the front and back bezel with pink and white enamel floral decorations and engraved scrolls, gold cuvette, pink enamel scalloped medallion with detailed painted bouquet to the back. Case and movement numbered.
