A very fine gold enamel pocket watch for the Chinese market “Diana, the Goddess of Hunt” 18k gold case, circa 1820, pendant, band and bezels engraved and opaque red, blue and green enamelled with champleve decoration, on the back lid a very finely painted multi coloured enamel plaque depicting Diana, the goddess of hunt and a nymph, lavishly florally engraved gold dome with Chinese signature stamp. Enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, centre seconds, gold lozenge hands. Bridge movement, keywind, firegilt, lavishly florally engraved, going barrel, cylinder escapement, ring balance.
