An exceptionally large Swiss rare 14K pink gold open faced quarter repeating pocket watch with rare enamelled Jacquemart automaton depicting Father Time and a striking mechanism, circa 1910. Polished case. On the front central time indication with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 0’clock and blued steel hands surrounded by polychrome enamel figures, above the indication of time a cherub holding a bell in each hand and on both sides a Jacquemart with hammers for striking the bells. A fine high-quality precision lever movement, lever escapement, repeating the hours and quarter hours.
