Gold full hunter lever watch
–
A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater and chronograph, manufactured in Switzerland, circa 1910. This pocket watch has a complex mechanical handwound movement with a lever escapement, crown winding system, and a slider activated minute repeater that strikes the hours, quarters, and minutes on internal gongs. It also includes a push button chronograph function. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals with an outer minute/chronograph track, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and ornate gold Louis XV style hands. The 18 carat yellow gold case is a full hunter design, with a stylised engraved bezel. The front cover is hand chased with a detailed equestrian scene of a jockey on a horse with a trainer, beneath a sunburst sky accented by a single bead set diamond.
