A fine Swiss pink gold minute repeating split seconds chronograph open faced watch by Patek Philippe, made in 1893. Retailed by Tiffany & Co.
Nickel lever movement, 31 jewels, column wheel split second chronograph.
White enamel dial with painted black Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial for the constant seconds, outer minute track, 1/5th seconds track with Arabic numerals, spade hands, 18k pink gold case, hinged cuvette, coaxial chronograph button to the crown, split second pusher at 10, chronograph lock at 11, slide to activate the minute repeater at 9 o’clock, the back engraved with an eagle holding a cross above a banner reading ‘Sic Fidem Teneo‘ (thus I keep faith), case, dial, cuvette and movement signed by retailer.
