An extremely rare Swiss 18K gold hunting cased keyless 1st class deck chronometer, circa 1910. Vacheron & Constantin ankerchronometer movement from special quality with fine adjusting device, wolf’s toothing, big gold screw chronometer balance, and observatory punch on the balance bridge. Signed enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold hands. Very high quality and solid 18K gold à-goutte hunting case with monogram. Dome marked as Observatory Chronometer 1st class Geneva Observatory. Accompanied by extract from the archives and observatory document, tested at the observatory in Geneva.
