A fancy Swiss varicoloured gold key-wound dress watch, circa 1820. Accompanied by a pouch, key and gold-plated fob pin. The case is lavishly decorated in floral and leaf patterns, set with turquoise and amethysts. Gold engine-turned dial with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and blued steel cathedral hands. A gilt movement, verge escapement going barrels, brass three-arm balance, skeletonized and foliate engraved balance bridge, flat balance spring, index regulator. Numbered in the case.
