A magnificent Swiss 18 carat rose gold quarter repeating verge pocket watch with two Jacquemarts à trois couleurs, circa 1810. Full plate movement, keywound, chain/fusee, two hammers, two gongs, three armed brass balance. Skeletonized dial, visible mirror polished rack strike, the two Jacquemarts, a man and a woman in three colour gold period garments, striking the hours with their hammers onto two large bells that are visible in the upper half of the dial, a small white enamel chapter ring with Arabic hours to the centre. Plain, scalloped case.
